From serving our local community to supporting our Troops it has always been part of our company philosophy at Hines Bending Systems, Inc. to give back. This year we were given the opportunity to donate a Hines Semi-Automatic 150NC Tube & Pipe Bending Machine to Fort Myers Technical College. Focused on building and sustaining a skilled workforce for the manufacturing industry, Fort Myers Technical College provides students with industry-standard technology and equipment for all classrooms and labs. Hands on training and support for students in their manufacturing program is paramount to success. Hines Bending Systems felt this donation was ideal to help prepare students for the workforce while learning a valuable trade in the tube and pipe bending industry.
The Hines Semi-Automatic 150NC Tube & Pipe Bending Machine bends up to 1.5” OD x .125 wall. The 150NC tube bender makes great economic sense. Loaded with all the features and functionality of a much larger mandrel bending machine, the 150NC bending machine is a conservative step-up investment that easily accommodates a rapidly expanding tube and pipe bending operation. Traditionally, the 150NC tube bender has been the intermediate and affordable choice that produces bends up to 1.50″ OD.

“It is a constant challenge keeping up with the constant improvements and changes in business and industry, but with significant contributions of cutting edge technology, such as the NEW HINES MODEL 150NC, our students will be better prepared to enter the workforce today and in the future. Fort Myers Technical College is grateful for the donation from Hines Bending Systems, Inc. COMPANY! This donation from the world leading manufacturer of tube, pipe and induction BENDING EQUIPMENT, will have a direct positive impact on a multitude of programs here at Fort Myers Technical College. The Electricity Program had the opportunity to arrange the wiring to supply power to the pipe bending machine. The Plumbing Program, Turbine Generator Maintenance Inspection and Repair Program, Automotive Collision Technology Technician Program, Automotive Services Technology Program, Welding Program, Marine Services Technologies Program, and HVAC-R Program will all benefit from the pipe bending machine as it will be used in a variety of practical exercises and live work opportunities.”
